When the carpet arrived they called me and scheduled an install date of June 1st between 8am and 11am. They hadn't arrived by 1130 so I reached out to Lowe's Installation and they called Marc's Flooring ,who was supposed to do the install, to see what the holdup was. When they called me back, they said that they didn't know that the installer was on vacation. How do you not know that your employee isgoing to be on vacation. They didn't have anyone else to install it so they had to reschedule me. We had actually cut our vacation short so we could get the installation done on they date. They rescheduled us for June 7th for between 1100 and 1pm. The installer arrived a little after 1 and didn't get done until 9pm. After they left we found that they had put a hole in our wall and there was a spot by the doors that the carpet didn't even cover. I took photos of the wall and the carpet and went and spoke with an assistant manager. He said he was going to send the information to corporate and that I would hear something. It was 2 weeks before I heard from anyone which is unacceptable. Lowe's said they didn't have anyone to fix the wall but they would give us $300.00 to get it fixed and that someone from Marc's flooring would be coming to ix the carpet. The soonest they could get someone out was August 1st between 1pm and 3pm. Well, they hadn't arrived by 3:30 so I called them. They called the installer and he was stuck on another job and wouldn't be here until between 5:00 and 5:30. The manager guaranteed me he would bee here then. HE DID NOT SHOW UP OR CALL. We are outraged. I don't understand why a company like Lowe's would use a contractor that is so unreliable. I guess my time is not important. They got our money and they don't care. Don't ever Use Marc's Flooring. Marc's manager did come and take pictures of the issues but I guess that was just for show.
