Going to be in Washington at 12 so can pick up then. 12 snd no contact from Lowe’s yet. 5 o’clock I call snd customer service tells me wheelbarrows are outside so just come in and they will unlock them for me. Asked for him to check and make sure one is there but wouldn’t do it. 6 o’clock I get a phone call from another helpful gentleman that said that they have had a hard time finding them but have located them buy not assembled. Guy that does this only works on Tuesday and Thursday so does not know when it will be assembled. I could pickup up and put together myself if I wanted So another trip to the store to pickup my unasembled wheelbarrow. I was scheduled for a delivery (785149861) today between 12-4. I took a half day from work and placed my dog in day care to accommodate this. At 9:30 while in a meeting I received a message asking if I was home. I responded at 9:32 and left a message indicating that the earliest I could get home for my 12-4 window was 11. I asked that they let me know if that would be an issue. No one called me back. I rushed home and was home by 10:30. At 3:24 and 4:06 I called the same number as there was no sign or communication re my delivery. I left a message asking for a status. No response.
At 4:54 I called Havertown Lowes, waited on hold for 30+ minutes. Finally spoke to someone who indicated that my delivery was canceled as I wasn’t home. I explained the situation and she confirmed the call was prior to my scheduled window. She asked me to stay on a ‘brief’ hold while she spoke with a manager. I was on hold for a further 25+ minutes before someone hung up on me. Perhaps it was an inadvertent disconnect but they had my order details and it is 7+ hours later and no one has tried to contact me. Right now your website says my order is out for delivery scheduled arrival Fri 22 Sep 12-4pm EST BULLSHIT!!!!!
It’s not the delivery failure that bothers me. If anyone had the common decency to contact me and explain that they needed to reschedule because I wasn’t available 3 hours before the start of my scheduled window I would have been OK with that but the complete lack of respect and communication even after I was reaching out is totally unacceptable as far as I’m concerned.
This was the second delivery from Lowe’s this week and the first one also needed to be rescheduled. That time because the installer was running late on another job but he called explained I completely understand these things happen

I walked all the way back across the store took the photo and returned to the register. He took my cell phone and looked at the photo and entered the item number, set my phone on a shelf that was out of my reach. He then said the price tag was a different item # than was on the board. I informed him then it must be put in the wrong place because they all had the same tag, I asked for my phone and he huffed telling me it was right up there on the shelf and walked away. I got my phone, went back to the lumber Dept and spoke to another employee who scanned the shelf tag , told me that board was out of stock. When I pointed out all the boards he said "This store is so screwed up. The people who stock shelves are dumb. This place is a mess." I found a different board that was marked at $5.19, made sure the item numbers matched and went to the checkout. Sure enough it rang up at $6.89 the same jackass got huffy and said he would change it just to put me out of my misery. My issue is Trey defaming my character by telling the police that I verbally harassed him. This is morally wrong and also needs to be clear! Lowes cannot continue to suppress black people for speaking out against the policy that they put in place. Why do I always get treated in Bloomfield Lowe's like I’m a criminal when, over the years, all I’ve done is make legit purchases?
